Exquisite

You speak a stream rippling
over smooth stones.

Your arms compose me until
we are close as nail to finger.
My hands slide down your back
--how fine you're put together--
In the taper to your waist
an equation whose spiral nest
I cannot spell,
but feel round quadratic,
cubic inflection continue subtle ratio.

Kissing wit in your lips
your tongue freedom
your cheek honesty.
And on your neck
back where the hair begins
my lips find a place that suggests
an oasis of ultimate treasure
