The ant
does not measure
the circumference
of the earth,
the
distance of the sky.
Its territory
is not allotted
in miles, kilometers
acres, or plots.
It
climbs the tree
surmounts the rock
invades the cave
letting each exist
in its enormity
making no effort to
reduce to something
comprehensible. In
the zen moment of
its focus, it
is able to
act.
