the mist of illusion
holds firm
the streak of silver
youth across the court
ball in hand
into board room
court room
class room
sick room
home room
war room
Pan in the modern world
a long or short leg
lifted
looking for the right smile
the right leg
the left breast
the silken flaxen fact
that makes for fun
that dreams of music
that leads to the next
Pan in the modern world
this silver youth
this golden god
after grapes
games
and short nights.
