Kay Kidde lives in Westhampton Beach, NY and is the founder of Kidde, Hoyt & Picard Literary Agency in NYC. She was Senior Editor at New American Library and Harcourt Brace Jovanovich and also a teacher.

Kay's recent books of poems include Home Light: Along the Shore, Sounding for Light and Early Sky. Kay is the recipient of the 2008 Woman of the Year award by invitation of the Suffolk County Council for her work with Maureen’s Haven.
