Charlene Babb Knadle writes novels, short stories, memoir, and personal essays as well as poems. Her work has appeared widely, including in the New York Times, Newsday, Midwest Poetry Review, Roswell Literary Review, Cappers, Arizona Magazine, Fantastic Stories, Oberon, and the multi-volume reference work, Popular Contemporary Writers. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
Charlene's three alma mater are Harding, Stony Brook, and St.John's Universities for her bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, respectively. She lives in Dix Hills, NY and teaches in the SUNY system at Suffolk County Community College. She and her husband, Richard, have a son, Christopher, and a daughter, Juliane.
